ABOUT THE ARTIST
I studied fine arts in Bulgaria for 10 years from the age of 5 to the age of 15. After changing venues I ended up at Yale University earning a Ph.D. in applied physics. For the past 15 years I have been enjoying photography. Initially it was just a hobby, but lately it has become a determined pursuit of serious art.

The photographs chosen for this site were selected to represent my approach to forms and lighting. I devloped my style from studying the old masterpieces in painting and graphics rather than the work of established photographers. I believe that in art there should be no restraint!  I would manipulate a photograph to look the way I like it even if that means destroying the original scene or composition. For portraits I would try to bring and enhance the personality of every subject.
