THE INNOCENTS OF THE ARC
The Arc is a nation-wide organization for helping mentally retarded people lead a full and enjoyable life.  I regard the people from the Arc as children trapped in older bodies.  In fact they call themselves the Innocents.  Few people know about their existence and even fewer are willing to learn anything about them.  I would like to make a difference by starting a photo essey for the benefit of the art and in pursuit of my own artistic goals.

The Innocents are very much like children in many ways: fragile and sensitive, difficult and defenseless.   This is how I would like to portray them. They are absolutely fascinated by the experience of being photographed and without exception love the final images!

Some examples of this ongoing work will be shown in the gallery when the release forms are resolved .
